Sussex HenLight Sussex - 

These originated in the county of Sussex.  They lay around 260 Large eggs, are cream to light brown in colour. The Sussex is one of the oldest breeds still in existance today.  They are quite and easy to handle & can adapt to surroundings easily.  They are good foragers, happy to be free range aswell as in a confined space. 

These birds are perfect for beginners requiring good daily egg production.
